A small amount over the serum, from the center outwards, without forgetting the neck and décolleté. Finish with your sunscreen.

3 — Cleanse · Cleansing Balm
Massage a small amount on dry skin, emulsify with a little warm water, rinse. It removes makeup and impurities without pulling.
4 — Regenerate · Facial Oil
5 to 6 drops, alone, by gently pressing the palms on the face. It nourishes, soothes and regenerates during the night.

The walnut is purchased directly from our growers at Ferme Michallet, then we formulate and manufacture within a 100 km radius. A French, local and traceable production, from the orchard to the bottle.

All the treatments in this ritual are based on ORGANIC walnut oil, rich in omega-3s and antioxidant polyphenols, combined in the serum with clinically tested patented anti-aging active ingredients (NovoRetin™, Gatuline™, Taladvance™), and with plant-based hyaluronic acid in the cream. 1. What exactly does the ritual contain?

Four skincare products, designed to cover morning and evening: Cleansing & Makeup-Removing Balm — in the evening, to remove makeup and pollution without stripping the skin; Joli Minoix Face Oil — in the evening, the highest concentration of fatty acids in the range; Regenerating Milky Serum — with plant-based retinol, for skin texture and firmness; Anti-redness face cream — in the morning, to protect the barrier all day long. Purchased separately, these four products cost €111.90.

2. In what order should I use them?

In the morning — Milky Serum on clean skin, then Cream. In the evening — Cleansing Balm, then Face Oil. The rule is always the same: from the most fluid to the richest. Serum before cream in the morning, never the other way around — the cream forms a film that the serum would not be able to penetrate.

3. Do I need to use everything from the first day?

No, and it is actually not recommended if your skin is reactive. Introduce them in this order: — Week 1: balm in the evening, cream in the morning — Week 2: add the oil in the evening — Week 3: add the serum in the morning, every other day at first, then every day. You give your skin time to get used to it, and if a reaction occurs, you will know which product to attribute it to.

4. What is the plant-based retinol in the serum?

It is a plant-based alternative to traditional retinol. It targets the same goal — refining skin texture, evening out skin tone, supporting cell renewal — with much better tolerance: no flaking phase, no burning sensation. This is what makes this ritual usable on sensitive skin, where a traditional anti-aging retinol routine would be poorly tolerated.

5. Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Ask your doctor or midwife for advice before starting. The serum contains a plant-based retinoid-type active ingredient: even if its tolerance is much better than that of traditional retinol, data during pregnancy is limited and caution is necessary. If you wish to continue Novëm skincare during this period, opt for the cream or the duo, without the serum, after medical advice.

6. Does the serum make the skin sensitive to the sun?

The serum is used in the morning, under the cream — this is the intended time, whereas traditional retinol requires nighttime application. This does not exempt you from sun protection, quite the contrary: when you have redness, the sun is a recognized trigger, and it is the most useful step of the day. None of our skincare products contain SPF. Apply your usual sun protection over the cream once it has been absorbed.

7. How long until I see results?

Three things must be distinguished. Comfort comes in a few days: the skin feels less tight and less hot. Visible redness requires 3 to 4 weeks for a clear difference, the time it takes for the barrier to rebuild itself. Skin texture and firmness, supported by the serum, are judged at 8 weeks — this is the pace of cell renewal, and it cannot be accelerated.

8. How long does the ritual last?

About two months for the set, with daily use. The cream and balm are available in refills: when replenishing, you only buy the contents, at a lower price.

9. Why this ritual instead of the 3-step routine?

The 3-step routine treats redness: clean, nourish, protect. The complete ritual adds the serum, i.e., the radiance and firmness dimension. Choose the 3-step routine if your priority is to soothe reactive skin. Choose the complete ritual if you also want to work on skin texture, fine lines, and density — typically from age 40, or when redness is already under control and you are moving on to the next step.
